Membership

Although a private club, owned by its members, it is also open for a fee to non-members and visitors alike. Membership is open to local residents from the age of 10 years.

There are currently four levels of membership:

Junior	10 years to 18 years inclusive
Adult	over 18 years old
Non-playing	over 18 years old
Honorary Life	Those members who have given special service to the Club over a period of years.

Crown Green Bowling is not an expensive sport but it does give good value for money. The Club has an adequate supply of Bowls, Jacks, Mats and measuring equipment which means that new or potential members and visitors do not need to purchase any of the above items. The only requirement is that everyone who goes on the Green to play bowls MUST wear heel-less shoes, e.g. flat-soled shoes or trainers.

Under 12	£4
12 - 18 years	£6
Non Playing	£6
Playing	£45

Visitors pay £3.00 per session with Woods, Jacks and Mats included.

Please note - when the Green is busy play may be restricted to 1 hour's duration.

Activities

The Club offers activities which include:

Social Bowling	2pm daily from early April to late September. Visitors are Welcome.
Friendly Matches	With other local teams at Home and Away Greens.
Intra Club Tournaments	At least 6 during the Season (some of which are handicapped), including Singles, Doubles, Mixed & Veterans.
Floodlight Tournament	From late August to late September.
